Manifesto
A stone farmhouse in Erquy, an 18th-century apartment in the heart of Rennes. Every place already has a story. Ours begins by listening to it: the thickness of a wall, the creak of a floorboard, the way the sun crosses the room at four o’clock. Only then do we draw. A wall opened, a material revealed, a light moved: often, a single right gesture is enough to change how a place is lived in.

Endure
Walls that stand their ground
Storms for the house by the sea, centuries and fashions for the stone townhouse: they have weathered a great deal, and they are still standing. We don’t change what has endured, we reveal it.
On the coast, granite laid bare, lime plasters, original timber frames. In town, restored herringbone parquet, cornices, fireplaces and terracotta tiles. Respect for what lasts, a taste for what stands the test of time.

Open
Letting the breath back in
Over the years, places close in on themselves: small windows turned away from the sea, apartments carved into corridors and dark rooms overlooking a courtyard. We open them up, letting light and air flow, without erasing any of their character.
Partitions removed, enfilades restored, openings widened with respect for the façade, kitchens opened onto daily life. A great draught of fresh air that awakens without erasing.

Shelter
Turmoil outside, refuge within
Outside, a storm rumbling over the coast or the bustle of the city. Inside, a place that soothes. We design interiors that feel all the sweeter while the world rushes past the window.
Warm materials, low raking light, careful acoustics, a reading nook facing the sea or the rooftops. The contrast that makes it gentle.

Old houses
Breton farmhouses, village houses, fishermen’s cottages: we read the building before we transform it.
Apartments
18th- and 19th-century buildings, 1930s or more recent apartments in Rennes: reworked layouts, kitchens and bathrooms, bespoke storage.
Space planning
Layouts, circulation, openings. Giving every room back its light and its purpose.
Materials & decoration
Lime, granite, oak, linen, ceramics. Local materials that age beautifully.
Project management
Tendering with local craftspeople, site supervision, coordination with the building’s co-owners. A single point of contact.
Materials & furniture
Materials that age well
We choose materials that gain a patina rather than wear out, and furniture with simple lines that you keep for twenty years. Every project begins with a board of samples you can touch.
Two studios, an hour’s drive apart: Rennes and its surroundings on one side, the Penthièvre and Emerald coasts on the other. We work within roughly 50 km of each.

A well-made room is also judged after dark. We design light in layers (discreet ceiling light, lamps at eye level, grazing wall lights) and always in warm tones, below 2,700 K.
